It is a damper with a piston releasor, and is divided into R Type (round) and S Type (square) according to its appearance.

Halon System is activated by the activation of a detector or a manual control box.
When the gas discharged from the Halon cylinder is discharged to the Halon Head ① along the copper tube, it passes through the Check Valve④ and flows into the Releasor③.
The damper shaft Gear② is rotated while the piston of the Releasor is pushed by the pressure.
After the situation is over, if the Manual Valve⑤ in the manual control box is opened, it automatically restores the damper.
